The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It does be part of your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
